Accessible information for everyone

TL;DR

NDStudio.gov is designed to be accessible to everyone. We follow Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards across navigation, structure, imagery, color contrast, and responsive layouts. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, tell us what caused the problem. We will fix it as soon as we can.

Accessibility at the National Design Studio

The National Design Studio is part of the Executive Office of the President. We are committed to making ndstudio.gov accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We use Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our accessibility targets. Our accessibility approach focuses on:

  • Keyboard access and visible focus indicators
  • Logical headings, landmarks, and link text
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Color contrast and content that does not rely on color alone
  • Responsive layouts that support zoom and different screen sizes
